Arriving in the U.S. this fall, the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback is the latest addition to the 10th-generation Civic models. We are excited for this new hatchback to hit our lot at Wilde East Towne Honda. The 10th-generation Civic model is a favorite among drivers as well as at the Detroit auto show where the 2016 Honda Civic Sedan was named the North American Car of the Year.
The new hatchback will be offered in five different trims: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and Sport Touring. You’ll also have the option of a turbocharged engine option on all sporty CVT trims or on manual transmission trims (LX and Sport). Expected fuel economy of 31/40/34 mpg (city/highway/combined) for CVT-quipped LX, EX and EX-L models, 30/36/32 mpg for CVT-equipped Sport and Sport Touring trims and 30/39/33 mpg for the 6-speed manual equipped LX and Sport models.
The Civic Hatchback will target top-class safety ratings – an NCAP 5-star Overall Vehicle Score and an IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK rating with a GOOD rating in all crash test modes and a SUPERIOR rating in frontal crash prevention when equipped with Honda Sensing.
